My current practice moves between two distinct but unrelated bodies of work. One series is driven by the sense of chaos I feel about our present reality. In these paintings, I intentionally abandon my usual approaches to composition and color, allowing intuition and the subconscious to shape each piece.
Alongside this work, I am creating a series of western landscapes. These paintings draw from pastoral traditions of the American West while focusing on human ecology, environmental presence, and our relationship to expansive natural spaces. Together, these bodies of work reflect both internal emotional landscapes and the physical environments we inhabit.
